"YES! YES! A Thousand Times YES!!!"
After I meant to say "Yes! Yes! A thousand Times Yes!" (but instead, stared blankly), we decided to celebrate with a glass of champagne. Here's the part where all important events in your life seems to move in fast forward...
Upon coming down from our nerves and "popping" the question, we "popped" the cork to open the bottle.
Cliff was working on getting the cork out and I was recovering from the new "bling" on my "ring" that's my new "thing..."(OK, I'll stop...)
What sounded like a gun shot, and Cliff and I both ducked for cover, was just the champagne cork.
For what seemed like an eternity, we looked at each other and wondered where it went?
Then, in the distance, we saw the cork land...almost in the water, with a soft "thud."
We looked around and noticed other people on the beach looking at us and smiling broadly. I wonder if they knew?
